Rémy Martin have relaunched their Louis XIII cognac which dates back to 1874. The cognac is blended from the finest eaux de vie and is then aged in tierçon barrels of Limousin oak which are several centuries old. After aging in the tierçon barrels for a hundred years the cognac is ready to be sold in special Baccarat crystal decanters. Rémy Martin Louis XIII was the preferred cognac of Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Pablo Picasso, Winston Churchill and Charles De Gaulle guaranteeing it a place in history.
