Rolls Royce have released an armored version of the Phantom. The armored Phantom is a collaboration between Rolls Royce and an unspecified security company which specializes in armoring civilian vehicles. The Phantom features VR7 level security which includes thickened glass, heavy duty steel body panels and run flat tires. The suspension and chassis have been strengthened to cope with the added weight, the engine remains the same on the other hand meaning it wont be as fast as a regular Phantom. The Armored Phantom will be available to order from European and Middle Eastern Rolls Royce dealerships later this year.
