Cartier Crash Watches

Cartier have created the latest version of their Crash Watches, a model that dates back to 1967. Reminiscent of Salvador Dali’s surrealistic watch dial, the design of these watches was in fact inspired by an accident. When the Vice President of Cartier was in a car accident, his watch melted on his wrist, and Jean-Jacques Cartier found the shape so original, he decided to reproduce it. These limited edition watches, which are are individually numbered and available only in select Cartier stores, feature diamonds and are made from either white or pink gold.
