British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar have released a new armored version of their XJ version as part of Jaguar’s latest collection to mark off it’s seventy fifth birthday. The Jaguar is powered by a five litre V8 petrol engine, while its ride and handling have been adapted to cope with the extra weight of the armor. The exterior is built to provide the driver and the passengers with as much security possible, much of it made from high strength steels with Kevlar backing and an armored inner cell developed in collaboration with Centigon. The interior is built to protect every person inside the car from an explosion equivalent to as much as fifteen kilograms of TNT, while featuring also substantial under floor grenade protection. The car will be available exclusively by special order from Jaguar dealerships.
