Rémy Martin have launched a special version of their Louis XIII cognac named the Louis XIII Rare Cask. The cognac is made using many different eaux-de-vie aged between 40 and 100 years which are then blended together in a single cask. The cognac is then placed in a hand blown Baccarat decanter made of black crystal which has a palladium neck in the usual Louis XIII. Only seven hundred and eighty six decanters will be sold as that is the amount the single cask yields.
