The Omas One Small Step pen commemorates the fortieth anniversary of the 1969 moon landing on July twenty first. The pen is made from white gold and features a three dimensional engraving of the footprints of astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon as well as the moon surface. The clip is a micro-sculpture that shows the trajectory of the flight of Apollo 11 starting from a small representation of the earth in the cap featuring topazes and diamonds to a scale representation of the moon in white gold on the end of the clip. The One Small Step pen is a limited edition and only 21 fountain pens and 7 roller ball pens will be made in reference to the date of the historical achievement: 21 July 1969.
