The Omas Doctors Pen was first made and patented in 1927 by Omas founder Armondo Simoni and became one of the most well known pens of its time, it has been remade by Omas as a limited edition. The original pen featured a clinical thermometer housed inside the barrel, the new version omits the thermometer but maintains the same design. The barrel is made of bordeaux red enamel with sterling silver body featuring the staff of Aesculapius. The pen retains the unusual flattened shape of the original and is only available as a fountain pen in a limited edition of fifty eight.
