The Riedel Tyrol decanter is named after the region in the Austrian alps where the Riedel workshops are located and was designed to match their Tyrol collection of glasses. The Tyrol decanter uses an innovative design which allows the wine to decant in a horizontal position allowing the sediment to settle on a greater surface than that of a traditional decanter. The decanter is made of twenty four percent lead crystal and is available exclusively from Riedel retailers.
