Leica have created a limited edition version of their M8 rangefinder camera in honor of their historic olive green M series camera’s supplied by Leica to the German army in the 1960′s. The Leica M8 Safari Edition is based on the M8.2 rangefinder camera which features a 10.3 megapixel resolution and the Leica ELMARIT-M 28 mm f/2.8 ASPH lens. The olive green camera comes with a calfskin leather strap and a Billingham camera case. Only five hundred of the Leica M8 Safari Edition will be made and will be available from select Leica dealers worldwide.
