Vertu have created a unique phone in celebration of Parisian jeweler Boucheron’s one hundred and fiftieth anniversary this year. The Vertu Boucheron 150 is based on the recently released Signature S Design but has been redesigned to incorporate constantly changing angled surfaces giving it a cut stone appearance alike to some of Boucheron’s signature pieces as well as subtly including Vertu’s V monogram in the angles. The phone is cut from a single ingot of gold and is completely made by hand a process which took over two thousand man hours to finish. The Vertu Boucheron 150 comes in a similarly designed burr walnut box made by the renowned Swiss music box company Reuge which features a unique music drum which plays the Vertu signature Sandpiper ringtone when opened. Only one Vertu Boucheron 150 has been made and will be available exclusively from Vertu’s new flagship store at 38 New Bond Street, London.
