De Beers may sponsor the Ferrari F1 team in place of Vodafone who will sponsor team McLaren. The sponsorship which would come into place next season is the first involving a diamond mining company sponsoring an F1 team. An interesting fact is that team Ferrari will be celebrating its diamond anniversary (60 years) next year.
