Bernard Arnault, CEO & Chairman of both Christian Dior S.A. and LVMH has been interested in purchasing Aston Martin according to Forbes. Aston Martin which is owned by the Premier Automotive Group(a division of Ford) has been on the market since August. Ford recently announced record losses which may hint towards the reason for the sale. Albert Frère (who owns the Château Cheval Blanc winery with Arnault) is interested to purchase it along with Arnault but to keep it seperate from LVMH. The Swiss luxury goods company the Richemont group also expressed an interest in purchasing Aston Martin. Earlier this week Aston Martin offically released the DBS and the V8 Vantage Roadster.
