Seeing that carbon fiber is up and coming with multiple uses we decided to write about some more uses of carbon fiber beyond cars and mouse pads. Ralph Lauren was inspired by his own McLaren F1 when he designed the RL-CF 1 chair. It is made of F1 grade carbon fiber which is composed of forty four layers of carbon fiber tissue hand placed to create the unique cantilevered frame whose seat is made of fine black leather. The chair is available in most Ralph Lauren flagship stores which stock the home collection as well as certain department stores. Ralph Lauren also makes other furniture out of carbon fiber.
