The very first production Ford GTX1 roadster will be auctioned between March 30th and April 1st at the 2006 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Event, with proceeds from the sale going to charity. The No. 001 car was designed by Kip Ewing and built by Gennadi Design Group it is a special edition model for the 2005 SEMA show. The GTX1 features a unique four-piece removable hard top that converts the car from a closed coupe to either a T-top or an open roadster. This production version has the serial number 001, it is fully street legal, with a supercharged 650-horsepower, 5.4-liter V8, as well as modified exhaust, unique wheels and custom paint.
