The Villa d’Este located on the shores of Lake Como in Italy and started off as a private residence in the sixteenth century before becoming a hotel in 1873. The hotel has one hundred and fifty two rooms in two historical buildings; the Cardinal Building and the Queen’s Pavilion as well as two private villa’s both with four bedrooms. The Villa d’Este Beauty Center offers massages, hydrotherapy and beauty treatments. The hotel has three restaurants offering local specialities each having its own outdoor terrace with sweeping views of Lake Como.
