Château d’Yquem will for the first time ever produce nebuchadnezzars for its 2005 vintage. The Château’s largest bottle to date is the 6 liter imperial used since 1982 vintage. There will only be 120 nebuchadnezzars made of which 20 will remain at the Château. A nebuchadnezzar can hold fifteen liters which is the equivalent of 40 regular sized Yquem bottles. It is unknown if this is just for the 2005 vintage or this will continue for all vintages from now on.
