Taschen have released an exclusive edition of their Moonfire book which commemorates the fortieth anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 Moon landing written by Norman Mailer. The book comes in an exclusive case which acts as a coffee table designed by Marc Newson inspired by the Apollo 11 lunar lander with the top a representation of the Moon’s surface. The book comes with a small piece of lunar meteorite in a case inspired by the windows of the lunar lander. Only twelve of the Lunar Rock edition books will be made and will be available from Taschen stores.
