Mercedes have released its 2009 update to its G Class which dates back to 1979 with very minor changes to the original design. The 2009 update has a slightly redesigned front in order to complement the rest of the Mercedes line up with a new simpler grille which has been added. The engines have also been updated and given slight performance boosts with the top end G55 AMG engine now outputting five hundred horsepower. The interior has also been updated and the telematics system has received a significant upgrade. The 2009 Mercedes G Class will be available this summer.
