Aston Martin’s flagship DB9 has been updated for the 2009 model year with numerous changes. The new DB9 a revised version of its 6.0 liter engine which now outputs 470 horsepower meaning the top speed is now 309 kilometers an hour. The exterior features new standard 19’ inch 10 spoke alloy wheel, a new set of door mirrors and a revised anodised aluminium five-bar grille. The DB9 uses the Emotion Control Unit (ECU) which debuted in the DBS as the key. The ECU is made of glass, polished stainless steel and polycarbonate and slots into a special drive in the center console. Deliveries of the updated DB9 begin during quarter two 2008.
