Whilst the attention of the yachting community is currently on the America’s Cup, the annual Bol d’Or Mirabaud is to take place in just over one week. The Bol d’Or Mirabaud is the largest regatta in Europe which takes place in a lake, last year there were over six hundred participants. The race takes yachts from Geneva to Le Bouveret on the opposite side of Lac Léman and back. Girard Perregaux will be a major sponsor of the event for the first time and to mark the occasion they have released this limited edition version of their Sea Hawk Pro watch. Only sixty nine watches will be made (It is the sixty ninth Bol d’Or). The watches are stainless steel and feature a bright blue dial to make it more visible. The principal sponsor of the Bol d’Or is the Mirabaud bank of Geneva.
