The electronics retail giant Best Buy has started selling its HD-XA1 & HD-A1 HD DVD Players ahead of its official Tuesday launch. The HD DVD players are capable of 1080i (1080 rows of pixels) which is an incredibly large amount (compared to 720 on a regular DVD). The first movies availible will be; The Last Samurai, Million Dollar Baby, The Phantom Of The Opera and Serentity. This is the first high definition player on the market with Sony’s much anticipated Blu-ray BDP-S1 due out in August.
